Quince-Essential

Outsourced In-House Counsel subscription

Our Quince-Essential subscription offers up to 1.5 hours of legal advice per month as well as access to templates, newsletters and guidance.

This essential service is designed for businesses who are not regulated by a professional body and do not have obligations under the UK’s anti-money laundering regulations.

Through Quince-Essential we offer commercial legal services and data protection support for businesses who have an ongoing or occasional need for legal counsel but do not yet have the appetite or budget to employ a full-time solution.

Through this service, we can provide practical guidance and assistance by offering support exactly when and where you need it for tasks including:

Contract review and drafting – including supplier agreements, assistance with tendering, confidentiality and non-disclosure, settlement agreements (for employers), terms and conditions, consultancy agreements, policies and handbooks.

Objective commercial guidance – many businesses rely on our support to offer an overview of the commercial options open to a business so that it may take an informed decision regarding its strategy and planning.  Our support can also include compliance auditing, trend spotting and root cause analysis.

Our Quince-Essential subscription does not include “Data Protection As a Service” although it may be used to access the expertise of our experienced Lawyers and Data Practitioners to help your business navigate its data protection obligations.  This could include dealing with data subject requests, complaints or safe marketing activities.

Subscription Terms – overview

Like an insurance policy, our subscription run for 12 monthly (subject to a 6 month review / early break) and so offer long-term support which may be accessed by email or telephone at your convenience.

The monthly cost is fixed and includes 1.5 hours of support and assistance.  Additional time may be taken at a reduced rate and this will be invoiced in arrears subject to our usual terms.

To get the most our of our subscriptions, we recommend onboarding with a gap-analysis or discovery exercise.  Should we identify any remedial work that might be required we will supply a separate quote for the work.

- Commercial private landlord, Hampshire

Davina was excellent in her work for my firm. She completed the work quickly and incredibly accurately and really paid attention to the accuracy of our documentation across the firm, not just the documents she was specifically reviewing. Enthusiastically recommended!
